The guided tour begins at the conference hotel (Regal Kowloon) and stops over at the Repulse Bay before arriving at The Peak, the main stop of the tour. On the return route, experience a simple local meal before heading back to the hotel. To enjoy the outing, dress casually and put on a good pair of walking shoes. Be sure to bring along a jacket as it can get windy and cold in the outdoors with the occasional light winter shower.
Repulse Bay - The Repulse Bay area is one of the most expensive housing areas in Hong Kong. The prices are matched only by the Peak (Victoria Peak).
It used to be a base for pirates but subsequently repulsed by the British Fleet, hence the name “Repulse Bay”. Currently a beach resort, tt is attractive to swimmers and easily accessible by public transport from Central. The beach was extended artificially and hence the sand closer to the shore is coarser than that further away.
